Project details

Stop relying on fragile scripts. Get production-grade GCP data ingestion pipelines built to institutional standards by a Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of financial sector experience. I build secure, automated serverless architectures that scale seamlessly with your needs.

What This Service Delivers:

Reliable Ingestion: Automated data transfer from APIs, webhooks, or platforms into GCS and BigQuery.

Managed Triggers: Event-driven or scheduled execution using Cloud Functions and Cloud Storage.

Observability: Built-in structured logging and immediate alert notifications (Slack/Email).

Cost Optimization: Serverless technology scales dynamically, keeping monthly GCP infrastructure fees minimal.

From essential single-source pipelines to complex, VPC-hardened enterprise builds with advanced transformations, choose the tier that fits your scale. Add-ons for Secret Manager and Terraform IaC are available.

Most data projects fail not because the code is bad, but because the "human element" was ignored. I’ve spent the last 10+ years working with major companies, and I’ve seen firsthand how high-speed engineering means nothing if the end-users can't trust the numbers.

I treat data as a product. When it’s clean and well-managed, it’s an invaluable asset. When it isn't, it’s a liability that quietly eats away at your performance and ROI.

How I work:

Right-Sized Tech: I won't sell you a massive cloud infrastructure if a leaner solution fits better. Whether we’re using Snowflake, Databricks, or a custom Python-based build, the business case dictates the tool, not the other way around. Every problem can be solved with a hammer, but I’d rather ensure we aren't overspending on a tool that doesn't fit the job.

Human-Centric: I build for the people who will actually use the dashboards and reports.

Product Mindset: We focus on the "why" behind the data to ensure every pipeline I build adds to your bottom line.

My Core Tech Stack:
I specialize in building robust, scalable architectures using the modern data stack:

Languages: Python (Pandas, PySpark, custom ETL scripts).

Transformation & Orchestration: Apache Beam, dbt, Airflow.

Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform (IaC).

Warehousing & Analytics: BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks.

Whether you need a full-scale cloud migration, a complex streaming pipeline in Beam, or a more efficient way to manage your current stack, I’m here to ensure you get a tool that works—not just a bill for expensive software you don't need.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Michael can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Michael receives requirements from you.

Michael works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Requirements Review

I'll review the documentation that you provide to asses for size and feasibility. Based on the details provided, I'll start a project document which I'll share that includes the infrastructure design document and other details.

Validation of Access to GCP

I'll access the GCP project with my credentials to make sure that I can access your GCP project and create and execute a "hello world" cloud function which can be called on a schedule. This will validate that I have the correct permissions.

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Michael.
