Every business has a workflow that eats hours and never really needed a human doing every step. I build a custom AI agent that takes one of those workflows and runs it end to end: it reads the input, decides what to do using an LLM, and takes the action in your tools, whether that is updating a record, drafting a reply, moving data between systems, or kicking off the next step. It is not a demo that breaks in week two. My day job is production AI systems for a national retailer with 200 plus locations, so I build in the parts that make it last: guardrails so it does not do anything crazy, a human approval step where it matters, logging, and alerts when something needs you.
