Project details

I build n8n automation systems that run without manual intervention not just connecting apps, but engineering logic that handles edge cases, prevents failures, and alerts the client before anything breaks.
This project is a live SEO content pipeline I built for a US-based window cleaning company. The system pulls keyword data from Google Search Console every Monday, scores and filters opportunities using position-based logic, generates SEO blog posts via Claude API, and publishes to Sanity CMS automatically across 26 cities and 7 service types.
What makes it production-grade: 3-step image fallback so the workflow never crashes on a missing file, 90-day deduplication to prevent publishing the same keyword twice, intent diversity tracking across 6 angles per city, priority scoring that routes keywords to auto-generate or manual review, and a heartbeat monitor that emails the client if any workflow goes inactive.

n8n automation audit I hired Melissa to maintain and improve an existing automated SEO blog system across two brands (n8n + Google Sheets + Sanity + GSC + Anthropic API). She did not build the original system — she was brought in to run it, extend it, and keep it healthy. Neither the ongoing operation nor the changes she made lived up to that.

**What went wrong:**

- **Cannibalization at scale.** The dedup layer she was responsible for let clear duplicates through — same intent, slightly different keywords, across multiple hub and satellite cities. I personally audited and cancelled dozens of duplicate posts across both spreadsheets. This should not have been my job.

- **Bugs that took multiple rounds to fix.** Cancelled rows weren't being remembered by dedup, causing rejected keywords to regenerate. Her fix was deployed on one brand and never propagated to the second — I had to catch the parity gap myself.

- **Recurring memory crashes** on the n8n cloud instance that repeatedly broke publishing. The workflows weren't architected to fit the tier they were running on, and this was never truly resolved.

- **False notification emails** — I'd get "new post to approve" alerts with nothing actually in the queue. Multiple times.

- **Publishing pace ~25% below target.** Target was 3 posts/week per brand; actual was ~2.2/week. Never resolved during the engagement.

- **No independent workspace access.** Every workflow version in n8n shows my name as the editor — she was operating out of my logged-in session rather than her own account. That left zero audit trail for her edits and made access cleanup materially harder after the engagement ended.

- **Reactive, not proactive.** The same failure patterns kept surfacing week after week. I eventually brought in a second n8n specialist for a second opinion because the pattern wasn't breaking.

**Bottom line:** If you need someone to keep an SEO automation running cleanly with minimal oversight, look elsewhere. Expect to audit the work yourself and catch problems she should be catching.

I build automation systems that work while you sleep and I can prove it:
my own website publishes AI-written, SEO-optimized articles in three languages, twice a week, with zero human intervention. 258 pages indexed by Google on day one.

WHAT I SPECIALIZE IN (autonomous content & SEO systems):
- n8n pipelines that pull data from Google Search Console, generate articles with
Claude/GPT, and publish directly to your CMS on a schedule
- Built one for a US client across 26 cities and 7 service types

I ALSO BUILD:
- AI agents for lead qualification, support triage, and CRM automation
- API integrations across any stack (HubSpot, Sanity, Supabase, Stripe, Google Workspace, Slack, WhatsApp)
- Production deployment for web apps, including MVPs built with AI tools that need a real engineer to ship them

HOW I WORK:
- Fixed scope agreed upfront, no surprises
- Clean, documented systems your team can operate without calling me back
- Response time under 1 hour, available 30h+/week
- I work in English, French, and Arabic (all native-level)

Stack: n8n, Make, Claude API, OpenAI API, Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare, AWS,
Docker, Python, Node.js
