Project details
I build n8n workflow automation systems that run in production without breaking. Not demos, not prototypes. Real systems handling real data.
Right now I maintain 300+ active n8n workflows on self-hosted infrastructure. PostgreSQL with row-level security, Redis queue mode, 30+ AI agents orchestrated via Claude API and Gemini. The whole thing runs on Hetzner, unattended, with daily canary tests and Telegram alerting.
What you get: a working automation system designed for your specific business process. I handle the full stack: webhook endpoints, API integrations, database design, AI agent orchestration, error handling, monitoring, and documentation.
My background is unusual: 24 years in hospitality (sommelier, F&B management) before switching to software engineering (.NET Cloud Developer from IT-Hogskolan, AI Developer certification). That operations experience means I build systems that survive contact with real users, not just pass a demo.
Stack: n8n, PostgreSQL, Node.js, Python, Claude API, Gemini, Docker, Google Cloud, Stripe, Meta API.

About Rickard
AI Automation Engineer | n8n, Claude API, PostgreSQL
Jonk, Sweden - 11:33 am local time
Right now I maintain a self-hosted n8n platform with 300+ active workflows, PostgreSQL with row-level security for multi-tenant isolation, Redis queue mode, and 30+ AI agents orchestrated via Claude API and Gemini. The whole thing runs on Hetzner, unattended, with daily canary tests and Telegram alerting. It works because I built it to survive without me watching it.
What I do well:
- n8n workflow architecture (error handling, retries, sub-workflows, queue mode scaling)
- PostgreSQL (RLS policies, migrations, pgvector for semantic search)
- AI integration (Claude API, Gemini, prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling)
- Web scraping and lead generation pipelines with AI classification
- Voice AI (ElevenLabs booking agents with calendar integration)
- SEO automation (technical audits, schema markup, Core Web Vitals)
- DevOps (Docker, nginx, SSL, monitoring, backups)
Before tech, I spent 24 years in hospitality operations, from restaurants in Sweden and Norway to hotel management. That background means I understand messy real-world business processes, not just clean API docs. I build systems that solve actual problems for people who don't have time to babysit their tools.
Available 10-20 hours/week, remote from Sweden. I prefer fixed-price projects or monthly retainers. Happy to start with a small test project so you can see the quality before committing to anything larger.
