About Herbert
High-Stakes Frontend Surgeon | Production Systems Specialist
Lima, Peru - 9:02 am local time
…but once the real project started, you realized he could not actually engineer a reliable product?
Maybe the freelancer sounded technical during the call.
Maybe the first demo looked good, the screens where there and the code looked decent
But then the deadlines started moving.
The architecture became messy.
The backend became fragile.
Bugs kept coming back.
Authentication, payments, APIs, dashboards, or integrations started breaking.
And suddenly you were not just paying for code anymore… You were paying for confusion.
Look, I have heard this story dozens of times...
And it is not really your fault.
In 2026, it is harder than ever to measure a developer’s real ability before you see how he thinks, how he structures a system, and how he handles the parts of the project that AI cannot solve by itself.
Because the problem today is not lack of code... AI made code easier to generate.
The real problem is lack of senior judgment.
So let me introduce myself:
My name is Herbert Corazao, a Senior Software Architect with 10+ years of experience, $200K+ earned on Upwork, 4,800+ billed hours, and 80+ completed projects across SaaS, fintech, banking, marketplaces, e-commerce, mobile apps, cloud systems, and complex production applications.
I have worked with early-stage startups trying to validate their business model.
I have worked with agencies that needed someone senior to rescue or stabilize delivery.
And I have worked on serious financial and banking platforms where code quality, architecture, reliability, and maintainability are not optional.
My core stack includes:
React, Angular, React Native, Ionic, Node.js, NestJS, Express, Laravel/PHP, SQL databases, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, CI/CD, AWS, GCP, Azure, APIs, authentication, payments, dashboards, and admin panels.
Today, I also work with a modern AI-assisted engineering workflow.
That means I use AI tools to accelerate:
- codebase analysis
- debugging
- refactoring
- test generation
- documentation
- API planning
- implementation
- delivery planning
But here is the important part:
I do not outsource judgment to AI.
AI amplifies a developer who already knows what he is doing.
It does not replace architecture.
It does not replace accountability.
It does not replace communication.
And it definitely does not replace the experience needed to turn a messy codebase into a stable product.
Clients usually bring me in when they need someone who can:
- review an existing codebase
- rescue an unfinished MVP
- stabilize a React, Angular, Node.js, or React Native project
- fix critical bugs
- improve architecture
- integrate APIs, payments, authentication, dashboards, or admin panels
- clean up technical debt
- define a realistic technical roadmap
- ship production-ready code without unnecessary chaos
Because there is one thing I always tell clients:
Time is money.
And if you keep wasting time on unclear architecture, fragile code, poor communication, and technical decisions that have to be fixed twice, your product will never move at the speed it should.
So let me make you a proposal:
Right now I’m offering a completely free consultation call for a very limited amount of time.
So, click on that green “Invite To Job” button right here in my profile, and we’ll talk soon!
P.S. If you are looking for just the cheapest possible code with no architecture, no analysis, and no senior judgment, I am probably not your guy.
P.S.S. It is usually cheaper, in the long run, to get things done right the first time.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Herbert can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Herbert receives requirements from you.
Herbert works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Gather Requirements
I would like to have Design, Sketch, Mockup or at least the Idea of the Application so I can start working. In that, I would also like to have assets required and to know which 3rd party technologies could be use.
Doing my Part - Coding
Once I have everything ready, I work daily, so if you wish to have reports every day from me, I am able to give you those written or in video format. Also, trough those reports, you can update me on changes that you wish to make.
