Most cheap APIs work on the demo and fall over in month two. No tests, no migrations, no logs, and a password check somebody wrote at midnight. Replacing one costs more than building it properly did.
I build the other kind.
Tell me what the API should do in plain sentences. Within a day you get a written endpoint plan: every route, what it accepts, what it returns, and the database tables behind it. You approve that before I write any code, so the scope is agreed and neither of us is guessing.
Then I build it. JWT login with real password hashing and role separation, validation on every input, database migrations so the schema can change later without losing rows, structured logs, and tests written as I go. Before delivery I send you the Swagger page so you can click through every endpoint and see the real responses yourself.
You get the repository, a README that gets it running on your machine, and the Dockerfile. No license key, nothing calling home.
