Contentful Developer Needed for Updates I'm stocked that I have to write this review. Farzan's profile has great reviews and I expected a much better experience and higher quality of work.

I hired Farzan to make several frontend updates to my website. Turns out he was not highly experienced in Vercel and led to the website going down after he attempted to migrate the site from the staging site to live production. He didn't know how to fix this and led me to hire another developer to fix the issue. Farzan even asked if I knew how to fix the issue - I'm not a developer, that's why I hired him...bizarre to even be asked that...

Additionally, he asked for payout outside of the UpWork platform for his moms birthday which goes against the terms of service working with any freelancer on UpWork.

Overall, it was not a great experience and ended up costing me money for a work product that was NEVER delivered. His updates are still sitting on the backend in Vercel as the new dev just reverted the website to an old backup.

Even after communicating these concerns to him, he still insisted full payment. Again, even though the project was not delivered.

Creating Gatsby components Farzan was great to work with, his code was well structured, and he was good at following instructions. Overall he was very good value.

My only constructive comment is: If you have strict deadlines i would suggest frequent meetings to make sure he is on top of everything.
