I will build a modern full-stack AI-powered Todo application that goes beyond a traditional task manager by integrating a smart chatbot assistant. Users can manage tasks through a clean UI or natural language commands like “Add a meeting at 5 PM” or “Mark grocery task as completed.” The system works like a personal AI assistant.
Key features include secure authentication (JWT-based), complete task management (CRUD operations), AI chatbot integration, conversation history with context awareness, multi-user support with data isolation, and real-time updates from chatbot actions. It also supports English, Roman Urdu, and Hindi commands.
The frontend is built with Next.js 14, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript. The backend uses FastAPI with REST APIs, and a database powered by SQLite or PostgreSQL via SQLAlchemy. AI integration is handled through OpenAI GPT API for natural language understanding.
When a user sends a command, the AI detects intent, processes it via backend APIs, stores it in the database, and responds instantly while updating the UI.
This project is ideal for SaaS apps, startup MVPs, and smart productivity tools, showcasing real-world AI integration.
