It will email you in case of any issues so that you can take another backup or contact your database support team. This system will provide confidence that your backups will be restorable when you need them.

I have been using SQL Server for seven years in a production environment, and I have taken on the DBA role for my workplace, since I have discovered a passion for SQL Server. I have been working with Azure SQL DB since early 2018. I have developed systems for IT to auto-restore and verify the integrity of backup files, I created a centralized system for tracking job history, and I have experience configuring and using CMS to run queries or change configurations on multiple servers simultaneously. I have written a lot of application code, stored procedures, functions, and triggers, as well as designing and creating database schema and structures. My favorite task is optimizing queries and indexes to make them faster and more efficient.

I was lucky enough to attend a week-long training by Itzik Ben-Gan, as well as having taken many trainings from Brent Ozar. I always try to find the most efficient T-SQL solution for my queries and create solutions that I know will last.

During that time, I have also worked as a software developer in the Inductive Automation Ignition environment. I have worked with PLCs, transaction groups, database design, user requirements, Jython scripting, screen design, and process automation. I have developed several systems based on user requirements, from the ground up in Ignition.

Confirm backup jobs

If you are not already using Ola Hallengren's backup scripts (or similar), I will set them up for you so that you have a backup system. I need your backup files to be in a predictable file structure in order to restore them with my automated system.

I will take my automated restore system and customize it to work with your environment, ensuring that all desired databases will be restored daily.
