That is the work I do. I fix broken Stripe implementations and build new ones that hold up in production, for SaaS products, marketplaces, and startups that already have something live and paying.
WHAT I DO
- Stripe subscription billing: plan changes, upgrades, downgrades, and correct proration
- Webhook reliability: signature verification, idempotency, replay and retry handling that does not double charge
- Stripe Connect: marketplace payments, split payouts, multi-party flows
- Failed payment recovery: dunning and retry logic to reduce involuntary churn
- Billing bug diagnosis and repair on codebases I did not write
- Stripe API integrations into existing products
PROOF
I built Ledger, a live Stripe reference implementation you can inspect in my portfolio. It covers subscriptions with proration, Stripe Connect marketplace payouts, full and partial refunds, and dunning on failed renewals. The webhook layer verifies signatures against raw request bytes and enforces idempotency with a database constraint rather than application logic, so no payment state change is silent or duplicated.
In my current role I maintain payment infrastructure processing 250+ Stripe and PayPal transactions per month, including automated quotation and invoicing workflows.
HOW I WORK
I read your Stripe dashboard and webhook event history before I touch code, because most billing bugs are already visible there. You get a written diagnosis before I quote the fix, so you know what you are paying for. If the problem turns out not to be Stripe, I will tell you that instead of billing you to find out.
