Bryan really disappointed me. He consistently delivered incomplete milestones and very buggy work. He uses some sort of AI pdf to show you that all the things he's supposedly done but then when you look at the actual website all of those things are either non-existent or very poorly done. When I would bring this up he would cheerfully run and fix them then deliver the milestone again. Yet when I check again, the problem has either not been addressed or it would be done so haphazardly that it eventually made me start questioning if he was hustling me, lying about his skills or simply unable to do what he promised he could.
In his response to this he'll bring up money and milestones, he offered to complete the project quicker than originally agreed on because he started the project much later than he originally promised. He claims it was because of a death in the family. That's fine. Regardless once you take on the job you're expected to deliver high-quality work and this is unfortunately something Bryan was incapable of doing. It's sad I only learned this after months of the same situation of buggy work being submitted.
In the end he's a nice guy and probably can handle certain tasks easily but I feel like he bit off more than he can chew with my project and instead of being honest about that he tried to put up a facade to fool me long enough to get paid. It didn't work.
