OpenAI RFT Fine Tuninging
After working successfully with Chaudhary, this has been a disaster.
1. I needed OpenAI fine tuning and I specifically told Chaudhary that I needed multiple graders with different graders for each training example. I can fine tune OpenAI already, but multiple different graders seemed very challenging.
2. Chaudhary said it was possible and that he had experience
3. After I awarded the project, he delivered 4 or 5 versions that did not meet the key criteria and in some cases weren;t valid at all (probably ChatGPT slop).
4. I spent a lot of time reviewing the work, but after the final revision Chaudhary told me that what I wanted was impossible (never mind that he had earlier said he had done it)
5. Finally, I was asked to pay the job out anyway because "However I've spent a lot of time in this .... Won't I be compensated for the work I've done?"
I would ask to see a demo of anything Chaudhary says he can do, because I think there is a lot of "creative license" taken. Although the first project was a success, I won't ever work with him again.
