I've built a full-stack School Management System from the ground up and I'm proud of how far it's come! 🏫
What it does: 📋 Manages complete student records enrollment, classes, sections, and contact info 💰 Tracks fee payments with duplicate prevention — a student can't pay twice for the same month 👨🏫 Handles staff records, designations, and salaries 📊 Monitors school expenses by category 🔐 Full authentication system with role-based access admin, teacher, accountant
Tech Stack: 🗄️ PostgreSQL for rock-solid, persistent data storage ⚙️ Node.js + Express — powering the backend API 🌐 HTML/CSS/JS — clean and functional frontend ☁️ Supabase — hosted cloud database 🚀 Railway — backend deployment 📡 Netlify — frontend hosting
Key highlights: ✅ Data persists permanently in the cloud ✅ Accessible from any device on the network ✅ Secure authentication with bcrypt password hashing ✅ Clean REST API architecture ✅ Fully deployed and live
This project taught me so much about building real-world systems — from database schema design to deployment pipelines. Every bug was a lesson! 💪
