The solution can include Microsoft Entra ID groups, Dataverse teams, Business Units, security roles, record-level permissions, sensitive-project access, approval workflows, access removal, testing and documentation.
This service is ideal when users can see records outside their department, roles are too broad, or sensitive projects need controlled, auditable access.
You receive a scalable least-privilege design: standard users see only authorized Business Unit records, approved managers can view cross-BU projects when required, and restricted projects stay hidden until explicit access is granted.
