Project details

Connect Claude or another MCP-compatible client to real business systems without leaving production reliability until the end.

I design, implement, and repair MCP servers for REST or GraphQL APIs, databases, CRMs, billing platforms, log search, data warehouses, and internal tools. You receive explicit tool schemas, authentication handling, safe failure paths, automated tests, and documentation—not a demo that only works with one prompt.

Every engagement starts by defining allowed actions and data boundaries. I then build the smallest reliable tool surface, validate inputs and outputs, test real failure cases, and document how to run and extend it. Read and write actions are separated, with confirmation boundaries where appropriate.

This is a strong fit for exposing an API or database safely to Claude, repairing a fragile MCP prototype, adding authentication, testing, retries, or observability, or connecting a CRM, billing, support, or internal system.

Packages cover engineering and documentation. Hosting, third-party fees, paid licenses, migrations, and vendor certification are excluded unless quoted separately. Delivery is asynchronous through scoped milestones.

About Kate

Kate J.Status: Offline
Senior Full-Stack TypeScript Engineer | AI Integrations, MCP, Claude
Rockville, United States - 2:53 pm local time
I build and fix production TypeScript systems, and I wire AI into them so it holds up under real traffic. NestJS and Postgres on the back, Vue 3 and Nuxt 3 on the front, Claude and OpenAI APIs in between.

I'm a senior engineer on a multi-tenant SaaS platform serving 40+ white-label telecom brands. Every change I ship has to work for 40 different configurations at once. That taught me to test per client, design for tenancy from the first migration, and never trust a fix I have not run against real data.

Work I take on Upwork:

- AI and LLM integration. Claude or OpenAI API work, agent pipelines, RAG, structured extraction. I shipped my own AI SaaS end to end (gov-contracts-ai: Next.js, Anthropic API, MongoDB, deployed to production), so I know what breaks after the demo works.
- MCP servers. I have built Model Context Protocol servers that connect Claude to CRMs, billing systems, log search, and data warehouses, and I use them daily in production work.
- NestJS / Node APIs. New endpoints, TypeORM and Postgres schema work, third-party integrations over REST, GraphQL, and SFTP (billing and CRM systems included).
- Vue 3 / Nuxt 3 frontends. New features, migrations, Pinia state, SSR issues.
- Rescues. Broken deploys, failing integrations, "the last developer disappeared" projects. I diagnose before I quote.

I am US-based, I communicate in plain English, and I deliver in small verified increments with tests, not a big drop at the end. Fixed-price scopes get a written spec before I start so we both know what done means. Selected public projects are available through the GitHub link on my profile.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Kate can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Kate receives requirements from you.

Kate works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Scope and access boundaries

Confirm the MCP client, tools, data, write permissions, authentication, and acceptance criteria.

Architecture and schemas

Design typed tool inputs and outputs, service boundaries, and safe confirmation behavior.
