I handle payment integration for Node.js/TypeScript backends, from a single gateway checkout to a full multi-provider payment platform. In production, I've integrated Stripe, BTC Pay Server, PassimPay, and Cryptomus for a platform serving around 10,000 customers, covering subscriptions, one-time charges, and invoices.
What you get depends on the tier:
Starter: Stripe integration only. Checkout flow, webhook handling for payment status updates, and error handling for failed or declined payments.
Standard: Everything in Starter, plus a second payment method (PayPal or a crypto gateway like BTC Pay Server/Cryptomus), subscription billing support, and retry logic for failed transactions.
Advanced: Everything in Standard, plus a third gateway, automated invoicing, and a unified payment service layer so your app talks to one consistent interface regardless of which gateway processes the payment, plus admin-facing hooks for refunds and payment status checks.
All code is tested and documented so your team can maintain it after handoff.
