Wordpress fixes
I am born in Brazil and coming from a poor background and a poor country, I was so delighted to discover Upwork. It has been 15 years that I have worked with freelancers at upwork and my rating is nearly 5.0.
I have rarely left negative feedback as I absolutely love Upwork and I understand that people come to Upwork to grow their lives, maybe they have families to take care of or they just want to create something spectacular.
There are some truly ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL upwork DEVELOPERS, artists, wordpress talent, game designers, artist, writers, scientists, teachers, researchers, you name it you can find it here at upwork.
Upwork truly does its very best to try keeping Upwork a safe place to work. However there are some who will exploit the efforts of Upwork policies that try to make upwork safe and work for everyone.
I have worked with some Wonderful AMAZING Developers, etc. But here, Do NOT hire this freelancer. He will cause you trouble. loss, waste of time; he will be unjustifiably very rude to you. My experience was awful.
I have been at upwork 15 years with a nearly 5.0 rating. I have learned how it works how to discuss everything clear and enjoy the experience of reaching good agreements, creating the milestone and posting the payment especially to make it happy and easygoing.
This freelancer here, he received my project files by entering through a backdoor to my dropbox.
He entered without signing into my dropbox. This means he had complete access to my content that I paid another freelancer to create all of it. He paid for none but he had everything in the dropbox.
He was hired to do a very simple task. Upload some tshirt and cap products to my wordpress. Which is a beautiful website another freelancer built it beautifully years ago.
With this freelancer, cooperation and after he received my project ideas and my money held is escrow was horrible. His cooperation and communication is abysmal and my experience is that he is an online predator and a bully.
The quality of his work left much to be desired because he will not check his work carefully or he will do the job half way or he will remove the job from your store.
Do NOT waste any time trying to reason with him for he is very unreasonable to work with.
He will smile in your face, all the time he wants what you have. Your project ideas and files. and the money you add to pay for the job.
In less than TWO MILESTONES, I paid him what he agreed to and in the end, he dismantled everything that I paid for.
Even though you put everything in writing, suddenly, (because he's after your ideas, your files, your milestone money) he will create some drama, blame you and accuse you of something.
In the same breath, he will speak very harshly to you and most importantly, he will not deliver as agreed. He will have your files tho. Your project files will be his and I had no way to recover my files.
He has no respect for diplomacy. He called me very bad names and he appeared to have something against me personally but I never met this freelancer.
Do not bother trying to reason with him. I realize he was unhappy before I met him.
He will left my project unfinished and removed all the job and then claims he did all this work. but none was done.
AFTER accepting my project, he abruptly changed the project details and this after I spend hours, days, maybe a week discussing the details. I put everything in writing and give it to him and he so okay.
He then accepted my milestone and then abruptly abandoned everything that we discussed to say he has no idea about this or about or about this. Meanwhile once you upload money to pay him like you agreed to do, you have to dispute to get your money back.
And I discussed everything with this freelancer, very politely, friendly. I always make a few laughs because I enjoy working here.
I wrote everything clear in the milestone, and AFTER I even put it into writing he read the milestone and ACCEPT the MILESTONE and then that's when all the trouble with him begins and very bad because it never stop. I was like what, what happened? What is going on? Yes, but to no avail. He will create some Major Drama just like a small child. or an online predator.
