You will get a WCAG 2.2 Level A/AA/AAA accessible PDF

Project details
I remediate PDFs so they’re genuinely usable with assistive tech — not “auto-tagged”. You’ll receive a defensible, standards-aligned document that supports WCAG 2.2 (A/AA/AAA as applicable), U.S. Section 508 expectations, and (where required) PDF/UA checks.
What I do:
• Rebuild logical reading order + tag structure (headings, lists, tables, artifacts)
• Write meaningful alt text (and mark decorative content correctly)
• Fix navigation (bookmarks, structure tree) + document language/metadata
• Remediate tables so headers/structure make sense to screen readers
• For forms (advanced tier): labels/tooltips, tab order, grouping, instructions linked
Quality gates:
• Automated checks (Acrobat + PAC where requested)
• Manual NVDA screen reader QA (task-based)
Deliverables:
• Remediated accessible PDF
• Brief remediation/QA notes (what changed, what was tested, any constraints)
Notes: Scanned/image PDFs usually require OCR before remediation (add-on).
Send the PDF (and source file if available) plus your required target, and I’ll confirm scope before starting.
