You will get a web scraping pipeline delivering clean structured data on schedule
Rising Talent

Project details
Most scraping jobs deliver a script that works once and quietly breaks a week later. I build extraction pipelines that keep running.
I currently operate a live SaaS platform that aggregates data from 50+ external systems into a single database of roughly 2 million records, and I re-architected its extraction layer with clustered Node.js workers for a 400% throughput gain. That is the same engineering I bring here: pagination and rate limiting handled properly, retry and backoff so a temporary failure does not lose a run, deduplication and schema validation so the data is actually usable, and alerting so you hear about a broken source from me rather than from a stale report.
You get a sample batch to approve before the full run, your data in whatever format fits your stack (CSV, JSON, database or an API endpoint), and short documentation so your team can operate it without me.
I only take on sources that are lawful to collect — public, non-personal data, or sites where you hold permission. I will tell you before we start if something looks risky.
Stack: Node.js, Puppeteer, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Docker.

iOS and Android app for IoT device configuration using Bluetooth communication
I had the pleasure of working with Yosef on the development of an iOS and Android app for configuring an IoT device using the BLUFI protocol. The app was designed to facilitate the setup of a wireless controller and pair multiple Bluetooth sensors seamlessly. With a large number of settings, the developer demonstrated a deep understanding of the project’s requirements.
Key technical aspects included:
- Expertise in the BLUFI protocol for smooth configuration.
- Implementing features for pairing multiple Bluetooth sensors/devices with the controller.
- Ensuring cross-platform compatibility for both Android and iOS.
The app was built with a solid tech stack, including React Native, Redux Toolkit, Axios for API calls, and react-native-ble-manager for managing Bluetooth communication. Other dependencies, such as crypto.js for securing network communication and formik & yup for validation, were smoothly integrated. The app also used development tools like Node.js, JDK, XCode, Babel, TypeScript, ESLint, and Prettier.
The final product is reliable, secure, and user-friendly, and Yosef ensured everything worked perfectly on both platforms. His technical expertise and positive personal attitude made this project a success, and I highly recommend him for any complex mobile app development projects. He is technically sound, responsive, and a true professional in every sense.

Update of Android App to support another BLUFI device
Yosef delivered excellent work on the Android App upgrade project, and collaborating with him again was a pleasure. He demonstrated a strong grasp of the existing code, seamlessly incorporating new features and meeting specific requirements. Additionally, Yosef's ability to set up the development environment for BLE (Bluetooth) communication with an external device was impressive. Overall, his commitment to quality work and adaptability made our collaboration a positive and successful experience.

About Yosef
Full-Stack Developer (MERN/Next.js) | AI & LLM | SaaS Builder
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - 8:28 am local time
What that means for you: I've been on the client side of my own products. I think about uptime, server costs, data integrity, and user retention — because my own revenue depends on them.
🚀 Products I've Built and Operate:
----------------------------------------
📱 Mezgebe Tselot — native Android app with 110,000+ active users, built from scratch (Java/Kotlin, Firebase App Check–secured API)
🔗 MotifQR — a dynamic QR code SaaS with branded designs, scan analytics, smart pages, and subscription billing. Built end-to-end with Next.js, Node.js, and Postgress — live in production (link in Portfolio)
📊 AffCollect — multi-tenant affiliate earnings SaaS aggregating 50+ networks, with Stripe subscription billing, two-way Xero invoicing sync, and Kubernetes deployment with KEDA autoscaling. Clustered Node.js scraping boosted throughput by 400%
💼 What I Do for Clients:
----------------------------------------
💻 Full-Stack Development (MERN + Next.js): from concept to deployment, TypeScript throughout
🤖 AI & LLM Integration: production-grade LLM features — structured outputs, tool calling, RAG over your documents, and agent workflows. I use these daily in my own products
⚡ High-Performance Backends: scaled real-time WebSocket apps with Redis Pub/Sub; MongoDB aggregation optimization. I'm a MongoDB Certified Associate Data Modeler with the Advanced Schema Design badge
📱 Mobile Development: React Native cross-platform + native Android (Java/Kotlin). Shipped IoT/Bluetooth (BLUFI) apps for Upwork clients — all rated 5 stars
🔧 DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes (KEDA autoscaling), GitLab CI/CD, VPS deployment (GCP, Digiral Ocean, Hetzner), PostgreSQL & MongoDB migrations
🛠️ Tech Stack:
----------------------------------------
✨ Backend: Node.js, Express.js, TypeScript, WebSockets, Redis, Vercel AI SDK
✨ Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Redux, Tailwind CSS
✨ Mobile: React Native, Android, Java, Kotlin

If you want a developer who has actually operated software at scale — not just written it — let's talk.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Yosef can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Yosef receives requirements from you.
Yosef works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Scope and source review
We confirm the exact sources, fields, volume and refresh schedule, and I flag anything that looks technically or legally risky before any code is written.
Build the extractor
I build the extraction logic with pagination, rate limiting, retry and backoff handling so it survives layout changes and temporary failures.
