My career has been on the electrical side of water infrastructure — pump stations, wells, boosters, treatment plants, and wastewater reclamation facilities. I co-founded an electrical and I&C engineering firm in 1997, ran it as President for 20 years, and grew it to roughly 100 people. SCOPE NOTE — READ BEFORE INVITING ME
I do not seal or stamp drawings for third parties. My deliverables are unsealed design, analysis, calculations, and review products, prepared under the responsible charge of your engineer of record — a normal arrangement for design support, studies, and QA/QC. If your project needs a sealed set, hire me for the engineering and have your EOR seal it.
BACKGROUND — 47 YEARS, STARTING WITH A TEST STATION
1979–1991 — U.S. Air Force Integrated Avionics Specialist (AFSC 326X5A) on the F-111 fighter-bomber at Mountain Home AFB and RAF Upper Heyford; honorable discharge, grade E-5. Then B-52 and F-15 simulators for Singer-Link, senior instrument technician for the City of Glendale, Arizona water utilities, and controls contracting through Downing Controls — while earning a BSEE at Arizona State University, 1991, no grants and no loans.
1992–1997 — I&C Engineer at Carollo Engineers, panel shop engineer at Keller Electrical, project coordinator at CR Engineers.
1997–2017 — Co-founder and President, Delta Systems Engineering. Electrical, I&C, SCADA, and automation integration for water utilities, contractors, civil firms, and manufacturers across the Southwest.
