You will get AI OCR Invoice & Document Data Extraction to CSV, Excel or DB

Project details
Still copying data out of invoices, receipts, forms, or scanned PDFs by hand?
I build automated extraction pipelines that read your documents, validate what came out, and write clean data to CSV, Excel, or straight into your database.
Why this instead of an OCR SaaS:
Off-the-shelf tools charge per page forever — at 5,000 pages a month that's over $1,500 recurring. This is built once, runs in your own AWS account, and costs about $0.01 per page after that. Your documents never leave your infrastructure, which matters if you handle financial, legal, or medical records.
It also handles the documents SaaS struggles with: irregular layouts, multiple vendor formats, and non-standard tables.
Every extraction is validated before it's written. Line items must sum to the subtotal, totals must reconcile, dates must parse, duplicates get caught. Anything that fails goes to a review queue with the reason attached — never silently into your output file.
Built on Amazon Textract, AWS Lambda, and Python.
Not sure it'll work on your documents? Start with the Proof of Concept tier. You get real extracted output from your own files plus an honest accuracy assessment before committing.

About John
AWS Solutions Architect | DevOps, Data Engineering & AI Automation
Cairo, Egypt - 12:45 am local time
WHAT I DO
- Cloud architecture & migration — AWS design, security and cost reviews (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC)
- DevOps & operations — Linux hardening, Docker, CI/CD, observability with Grafana, Loki and Prometheus
- Data engineering — ETL pipelines, data lakes, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Power BI reporting
- AI automation — bulk document processing, OCR, transcription, and workflow automation on AWS
WHAT I USUALLY GET CALLED FOR
- A server or site that's slow, unstable, or was never properly secured
- An AWS bill nobody can fully explain
- A migration that has to happen without downtime
- Manual document or data work that should have been automated years ago
- No visibility — you find out something broke when a customer tells you
WHY IT WORKS
I don't only design infrastructure, I operate it. Running a live platform day to day means security hardening, incident response, monitoring and cost control are routine work for me rather than theory. That shows up in what I build for you: systems designed around what happens after launch, not just at launch.
Certified: AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Incident Response, AWS Serverless.
HOW I WORK
Every engagement ends with written documentation: what changed, why, and what to watch next. No black boxes, and no dependency on me to understand your own infrastructure.
Trilingual (Arabic, English, French) — clean communication whether you're in the US, Europe, or MENA, with real overlap in all three time zones.
Tell me what you're running and what's hurting. I'll tell you what's realistic before you spend anything.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so John can start the project.
Delivery time starts when John receives requirements from you.
John works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Sample Review & Feasibility
I analyze your documents, identify extractable fields, and confirm what's achievable before any build starts. If something won't work reliably, you hear it now.
Extraction Setup
Configure Textract, map document fields to your output schema, and handle each layout you've provided.
