You will get AI Workflow Automation Audit

Project details
Before building anything, you need to know where AI will actually move the needle and where it will waste money.
I'll map how your team works, identify the 3–5 highest-ROI automation opportunities, and hand you a concrete roadmap: what to build, in what order, with which tools, and effort estimates for each.
This is an engineer's assessment of your real workflows, written by someone who ships the systems I'm recommending.
What you get:
60-min structured discovery call (recorded if you want it)
Written audit report (8–15 pages): workflow map, gap analysis, 3–5 opportunities ranked by ROI and effort
For each opportunity: problem statement, recommended approach, tech stack, effort estimate, risks
30-min follow-up call to walk through findings
What's not included: implementation, or access to your systems (this is a discovery engagement).
Best fit for: companies that know they should be doing more with AI but aren't sure where to start, or who want a solid brief before hiring an AI engineer.

Mariano is incredibly professional and knowledgeable in the AWS space. He helped us automate the provisioning of various Kubernetes clusters and supported our customer's developers in moving various monoliths to micro-services. He always provided efficient and quick solutions to any issue we’ve thrown in his direction in a very responsive and professional manner. Highly recommended!

About Mariano
AI Integration & Cloud Architect | AWS | LLMs | Automation | Python Go
Florida, Argentina - 8:49 am local time
Over the past 15 years I've designed and shipped distributed systems at some of the most demanding scales in the industry: infrastructure serving 20 million users at Grafana Labs, microservices architecture handling hundreds of millions of transactions at Mercado Libre, and cloud environments across 50+ client organizations at Caylent. That foundation is what separates the AI systems I build from the ones that get rebuilt six months later.
My current focus is AI integration and automation engineering: connecting large language models, document processing pipelines, and intelligent agents to the real systems businesses actually run on. I've worked with the Anthropic and OpenAI APIs across a wide range of use cases: document intelligence, image parsing, workflow automation, Slack-based enterprise agents, and data extraction pipelines that replace what used to take entire teams. I build these systems on AWS, instrument them properly from day one, and hand them off with the observability in place to know when something goes wrong.
What I typically help with:
RAG systems and knowledge bases: connecting your documents, databases, or internal data to an LLM so your team can actually query it, with proper retrieval architecture, vector storage, and API layer
AI workflow automation: replacing manual, repetitive document and data processes with intelligent pipelines that classify, extract, route, and act
LLM integration into existing products: adding AI-native features (summarization, classification, semantic search, generation) to SaaS applications without breaking what's already working
AI agents and chatbots: Slack bots, internal tools, and customer-facing agents with tool-calling, memory, and proper guardrails
AI infrastructure and MLOps: deployment pipelines, monitoring, and production instrumentation for AI systems that need to stay reliable
I'm AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and hold both the CKAD and CKA from the Linux Foundation. I work primarily in Python and Go, deploy on AWS and Kubernetes, and build with the full observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, DataDog), because systems you can't see are systems you can't trust.
I work best with clients who know what outcome they need and give me the space to engineer the right solution. I'll ask the right questions up front, keep you informed without drowning you in status updates, and deliver something that works the first time. I have a trusted network of senior collaborators in Argentina and Uruguay for engagements that need additional capacity, so I can absorb larger scopes without compromising quality or timeline.
I'm based in Buenos Aires, which puts me in near-perfect time zone overlap with US East Coast business hours. I've been working with US and international engineering teams for over a decade. Remote-first collaboration is not something I adapted to; it's how I've always worked.
If you have a system that needs to be smarter, a workflow that needs to stop requiring human intervention, or an AI proof-of-concept that needs to become a production system, I'd like to hear about it.
