GoHighLevel Expert Needed — Finalize Funnel, A2P Approval, SMS + Automations
This project was originally scheduled to be completed by May 3rd but remained unfinished into late June.
The project involved building and refining a GoHighLevel booking funnel with Stripe payments, booking workflows, calendar integration, SMS notifications, email notifications, conditional booking logic, and customer/admin automation.
While some functionality was eventually completed, the project required weeks of back-and-forth communication, repeated testing, and multiple rounds of corrections for issues that should have been identified and validated during the developer's QA process before being presented as complete.
Several times I was required to perform extensive testing myself to identify workflow, notification, branding, and booking flow issues. Many items that were reported as completed still required additional investigation and follow-up before they were actually functioning correctly.
One example was the homepage service selection carry-over issue, where a customer selects a service from the homepage but is required to select the same service again inside the booking form. This issue was identified during the original funnel testing and discussion phase, but was later treated as a separate milestone item instead of being completed as part of the booking flow experience.
Communication was generally responsive, however project execution, QA, attention to detail, and timeline management did not meet expectations. A project that was expected to take days ultimately required nearly two months of ongoing revisions, testing, clarification, and follow-up.
Some technical issues were eventually resolved, but overall the project required significantly more client involvement, oversight, and troubleshooting than expected.
