Shannon was great to work with at the start of our engagement, and we spent the first few months carefully building out requirements. Over time, I began to see the application come to life — but the issues started after launch.
The tool I received was buggy from day one and ultimately didn't meet the expectations of the project or justify the price. A year later, I'm still dealing with the same issues and have had to shut the project down entirely.
When I raised these concerns, Shannon told me that due to technology changes, fixing the bugs would require starting a new project at an additional $3,000 — bugs that were present in the original build.
I'll take some of the blame here: a major life change prevented me from doing thorough user testing out of the gate. That said, the product was delivered broken. The recommended tech stack wasn't robust enough to handle my requirements, and if I had to do it again, I'd hire a software developer to build it from scratch for what I paid for this tool.
Three stars reflects the strong start and Shannon's communication early on, but the final product and post-launch support fell well short.

CRM for Manufacturing Facility
Working with Shannon has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. What started as a collaboration on a project management system for our manufacturing business quickly expanded into implementing Airtable and Noloco for another one of our ventures—covering CRM, project management, and inventory tracking.
Calling Shannon "accommodating" doesn’t quite do her justice. Airtable/Client Portal/Work Portal
When we hired Shannon, we provided a detailed Loom video explaining our current system and what we needed moving forward. I was clear that our firm works with hundreds of document templates, which need frequent updates. Shannon provided an estimate of $7,350.00 to build a custom portal in Noloco that would allow my team to access and process orders efficiently.
Part of her proposed scope of work included:
"Create templated documents for each type of document created by the firm for client needs."
When I asked for clarification—since we already had hundreds of templates and did not need new ones—Shannon explained that we would need to transition our existing Word templates into Documint to streamline the document creation process, integrating with Airtable. This made sense, and I approved the plan, requesting a timetable. She provided a detailed timeline that suggested completion by late June 2024.
Unfortunately, Shannon spent the majority of the time between project kickoff and January 2025 focused on template work, which was not aligned with what we had discussed. Specifically, she attempted to combine hundreds of templates into a single 1,500+ page document with embedded code and conditional logic. As a non-developer, I did not fully understand the approach until I reviewed the templates in December. At that point, it became clear that the work was not practical for our needs and far from complete.
In January 2025, I asked Shannon to stop work on the templates and to at least proceed with the Noloco portal build-out. She declined and ceased work altogether.
At that point, I contacted Noloco directly. They referred me to two highly skilled developers. Within three weeks, the developer I selected built a system that uses our original templates (in Google Docs), Airtable, and Noloco to create documents quickly and efficiently. The system was easy to implement, and it allows me to access and update templates as needed. This was completed for approximately the same investment we made in Shannon’s unfinished project.
In my experience, Shannon may be a good fit for simple, well-defined projects. However, if you are seeking to develop a more complex operating system for your business or need advanced integration and process automation, I would recommend working with a more seasoned developer.
