Full-Stack Web Developer (React + Python with FastAPI | MVP Build)
Burhan did not meet expectations. He was advised numerous times to not put codebase into AI and he continuously did it as shown in Upwork Time tracking. He agreed to this in interview and said it wouldn’t be a problem. Yet he continued to do it time and time again- using prompts to modify code.
He said if he was paid more he would have put in more effort. He failed to ship code based on our internal weekly Friday deadlines and was overall unprepared for every opportunity presented.
He would be good on certain tasks and even say he’s completed it (like reviewing the code base and Figma) , and then when discussing would show no understanding of codebase or Figma and say it wasn’t enough time to review. When told to spend more time reviewing code and Figma he demanded to start work and said he doesn’t need more time to review.
Gave him a 4 star out of compassion.
