Headless WordPress + Gatsby Site Build
Starting with the good things, Hadi was initially highly available for a lot of hours on short notice. At points in the project he took the lead among multiple freelancers to attempt to get things done. At the beginning of the project he was also highly communicative.
Unfortunately, those activities did not yield a quality result.
I'd tasked Hadi with building a webpage that was partially complete and he took much longer than expected and estimated to finish it. I clarified that I needed the page done by a certain date or I would need to end the contract. It appeared that he would finally finish the page, however, he spent a lot of the day asking me questions on things that he should have expertise in.
Ultimately, the day ended without any updates on when it would be completed. When I checked back in on the next morning my time, I did not hear from him until the middle of the day. Apparently, he'd been unavailable because he was busy with school. Ultimately, after spending over $1300 and nearly two weeks with him, the page was not fully completed as expected.
