Convert Existing Web App into SaaS Route Optimization Platform (Fast Delivery Preferred)
This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. The developer pushed for hourly billing instead of milestones - a decision we deeply regret. He padded hours with little real progress, constantly used personal and family issues as excuses, and showed no sense of responsibility. Communication was poor, unprofessional, and full of empty promises designed to buy time.
He claimed to have strong expertise but relied almost entirely on AI-generated code, demonstrating no real skill or problem-solving ability. Deadlines were repeatedly missed, and nothing functional was ever delivered. When we brought in a second developer to salvage the project, he quickly asked to end the contract — clearly because it exposed his lack of work and competence.
He is unreliable, dishonest, and has zero accountability. This felt like a scam from start to finish. I strongly warn others to stay away from this freelancer if you value your time and money.
