Project details
This project integrates YOLO (You Only Look Once) with CARLA simulation for real-time object detection and trajectory prediction in autonomous driving scenarios. Three detection types are implemented:
Type C: Returns only the object name (e.g., "car," "pedestrian").
Type B: Provides object name + future trajectory (predicted path using motion models).
Type A: Uses a multi-modal (vision + language) model to generate detailed textual descriptions (e.g., "A red sedan turning left").
The system processes CARLA's sensor data (cameras, LiDAR) with YOLO for detection, enhances tracking with trajectory prediction, and employs NLP for rich object descriptions. Applications include autonomous vehicle perception, traffic analysis, and simulation testing.
