You will get ASP.NET Core Web App Audit & Fix Plan (C# + Azure + SQL Performance)
Top Rated

Project details
This project delivers an ASP.NET Core web app audit + fix plan (and optionally a first sprint of fixes) for apps using C#, SQL Server, and Azure. I review the hot paths (slow endpoints/queries), error patterns, deployment pipeline, and architecture risks, then produce a short, actionable roadmap. If you choose the implementation tier, I’ll ship fixes as PRs with clear notes and targeted tests where they pay off. My process follows platform best practices for ASP.NET Core (async, performance, reliability) and production logging/monitoring so you can measure improvements and reduce repeat incidents.

30 minute consultation
Damir was readily available to listen to what I need, didn't rush the process. He reiterated what we spoke about several times to ensure we were on the same page.

Custom Website Development & Feature Extension with Umbraco CMS
Damir joined us to extend an existing Umbraco CMS that had already been through a few years of changes. The work covered C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, API Integration, SQL and custom Umbraco development. We ended up adding 12+ reusable components, 8 custom content types and a cleaner editor experience. Publishing new content is roughly 40% faster now, and our content team asks for help a lot less than before.
At first we thought this was mostly a feature project. It turned into a bit more than that. Damir noticed a couple of places where the existing structure would make future changes painful. We almost skipped that refactor because it wasn't originally in scope. Glad we didn't. It made everything added afterwards much cleaner.
Not everything went perfectly on the first pass, but he stayed on top of issues until they were resolved properly. That's honestly what I remember most. If something unexpected showed up, he dealt with it instead of working around it. He was a Clear Communicator, kept discussions simple, and stayed Collaborative when requirements shifted. He was also Solution Oriented and never tried to overcomplicate things.
By the end of the project the CMS was easier to extend, easier to maintain and easier for editors to use. We also saw around 25% fewer content-related support requests after the rollout. Damir was Committed to Quality, Detail Oriented, Professional and Reliable from start to finish. Most importantly, he was Accountable for Outcomes, not just the code he wrote. I'd happily bring him back for the next phase.

Subscriptio Plugin Specialist
Damir is a star. This is the third or fourth time we've used Damir to fix issues for a WooCommerce plugin that is no longer supported. Once again, he tracked down the problem and got it resolved quickly. He's become our go-to guy for the more complex issues. Always reliable, easy to work with, and gets the job done.

Full-stack .NET Core + React Developer Needed for Azure SaaS with OpenAI Features
Working with Damir on our Web Application was a genuinely smooth experience. He handled everything from C# and .NET Framework to ASP.NET Core and ASP.NET MVC with a high level of confidence, especially when it came to API Development and API Integration. What I appreciated most was how clearly he communicated decisions around ASP.NET Web API structure and Microsoft Azure setup. He’s a clear communicator who doesn’t overcomplicate things, and at the same time he’s very detail oriented when it comes to SQL queries, performance, and overall system stability. He was fully accountable for outcomes, not just tasks. If something needed improvement, he would proactively suggest better solutions rather than just implement what was asked. That solution oriented mindset made a big difference for our web development process. On the frontend side, he was comfortable working with JavaScript and React, making sure everything connected cleanly with the ASP.NET Core backend. We also had some light OpenAI API integration, and he handled it in a practical, no-nonsense way. Overall, he’s professional, reliable, and easy to collaborate with. He’s clearly committed to quality and brings consistency to every part of the project. I’d definitely work with him again on any C#/.NET or web application work.

VB6 to C# Migration and Code Refactoring
Damir joined our VB6 to C# migration when things were already getting messy. The system had old .NET Framework modules, ASP.NET MVC pages, custom ASP.NET Web API endpoints, direct SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server, and even some newer React and Angular pieces added over time. He cleaned up several unstable API Integration flows early on, moved core logic into a more maintainable ASP.NET Core / .NET Core structure, and improved some SQL and PostgreSQL queries enough that a few heavy reports started running around 40% faster.
What I appreciated most was that Damir was very solution oriented and didn’t just blindly rewrite things. A few times we suggested approaches that basically recreated the same old VB6 problems in C#, and he pushed back with simpler solutions that made more sense long term. He was also a clear communicator during requirement changes and rollout discussions, especially when we were trying to balance deadlines with stability.
Not everything went perfectly on the first pass, but he stayed on top of issues until they were resolved properly. That mattered a lot because some of the old business logic was inconsistent depending on customer environment and user role. Damir was detail oriented in the areas that actually needed attention, particularly around reporting edge cases and older API Integration behavior that had caused production issues before.
He worked closely with our internal team during rollout and was collaborative when priorities shifted midway through the migration. We ended up with a much cleaner ASP.NET Core application, more stable deployments through Azure DevOps and CI/CD, and a Web Application our developers are actually comfortable maintaining now. From my side, he was reliable, professional, and accountable for outcomes instead of just completing tickets and disappearing.

Barcelona, Spain - 10:56 pm local time
I lead DilyaSoft, a Microsoft partner focused on .NET, Azure, and AI delivery.
I help companies modernize business-critical .NET systems and add practical AI automation without putting live workflows at risk. My work covers C#/.NET, Azure, APIs, Microsoft Graph, OpenAI, Teams bots, and legacy migrations.
On Upwork: $800K+ earned, 19,500+ hours, Top Rated Plus, and 100% Job Success.
Recent work:
• Led a 1,389-hour VB6 and legacy ASP.NET modernization into C#/.NET Core. The client highlighted the staged migration, production stability, API restructuring, logging, monitoring, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Extended an existing Umbraco CMS with 12+ reusable components and 8 custom content types. The client reported about 40% faster publishing and roughly 25% fewer content-related support requests after rollout.
• Built and stabilized C#/.NET API integrations, Microsoft Teams and Slack automation, and Azure OpenAI features for SaaS products.
I can take ownership of:
• C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core architecture and development
• Legacy application assessment and phased migration
• Azure, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, and API integration
• Azure OpenAI, RAG, AI agents, Microsoft Graph, and Teams/Slack bots
• Technical discovery, delivery planning, and engineering oversight
For larger projects, I stay responsible for architecture and delivery and can bring in DilyaSoft engineers when the scope needs more than one senior developer.
A good first step is usually a paid assessment. I review the current system, identify the main risks, and give you a scoped first milestone. Send me the stack, the bottleneck, and the outcome you need, and I will tell you what I would inspect first.
Steps for completing your project
After purchasing the project, send requirements so Damir can start the project.
Delivery time starts when Damir receives requirements from you.
Damir works on your project following the steps below.
Revisions may occur after the delivery date.
Audit & risk mapping
Review architecture, hot paths, deployment setup, and failure points. Identify the top issues and quick wins. Output: short action plan and priority list.
Fix top issues (bugs/performance/security)
Implement fixes in PRs: stabilize critical flows, optimize slow queries/endpoints, and address obvious security gaps. Add targeted tests where they pay off.
