I have been doing this for over 10 years, mostly for startups, SaaS companies, and businesses that have outgrown their first version of a product. Some hire me as a backend developer to build something new. Others have an app that works but has gotten slow, messy, or hard to change, and they need someone to take it seriously.
I have shipped across a lot of industries: SaaS, fintech, healthcare, payroll, property management, booking platforms, field service, and enterprise software. That range matters more than it sounds. Payment logic, compliance, real-time data, and messy third-party integrations show up everywhere, and having solved them in one industry makes me faster in the next.
Healthcare is one area I know deeply. I'm HIPAA and Privacy Law certified through the University of Pennsylvania and have built EHR and EMR systems, patient portals, EVV apps, and telehealth features, where security and compliance have to be designed in from day one, not bolted on at the end. I bring that same discipline to fintech and any product handling sensitive data.
How I Work :
Before I write code, I want to understand your business and your users. That usually means I ask a lot of questions. It also means I'll tell you honestly when something isn't worth building yet. I'd rather talk you out of a feature than watch you pay for something that won't move your business forward. That habit is why clients stay. A Few Things I Have Built :
A multi-tenant SaaS platform on ASP.NET Core and Azure, from empty repo to paying users, including auth, billing integration, and an admin dashboard.
A Flutter app for iOS and Android backed by a .NET Core API and PostgreSQL, with offline support and real-time sync so field staff could work without a signal and catch up later.
A legacy .NET application that had become slow and fragile. I profiled the bottlenecks, restructured the database queries, and cut key page loads from several seconds to well under one, without a full rewrite.
An AI document-processing workflow using the OpenAI and Claude APIs that pulled structured data out of messy PDFs and saved the team hours of manual entry every week.
