Summary of the issue
I hired the freelancer to produce a child‑friendly animated video based on a provided script. Despite multiple revision rounds, the delivered video did not meet the agreed requirements in terms of quality, consistency, style, and usability. The final product cannot be used for its intended purpose.
What was agreed
• A child‑friendly animated video
• Consistent visual style
• A complete and usable final product
• Revisions to correct issues
No agreement was made that I would need to fund external platform credits or pay additional costs beyond the original project price.
What went wrong
• The delivered video contained major quality issues that were never resolved.
• The visual style was inconsistent and did not match the agreed child‑friendly/cartoon direction.
• Multiple revisions were attempted, but the core problems remained.
• The final video is not usable for any professional or public purpose.
• The freelancer later requested additional payment for platform credits to redo the work, even though the original delivery was already below the required standard.
