WordPress Developer for one day (per my host company) for nature website Zunaira is a fantastic and diligent developer. I needed help with WordPress, and I'm extremely glad I chose her from the overwhelming number of proposals I received. Not only are her technical and timeline skills wonderful, but her communication and comprehension abilities are off the charts. I say this as a life-long editor who thought few people could handle words as well as I can, but she's actually better at it. On top of all this, Zunaira has such a good-natured and positive attitude toward her work that she is literally a joy to interact with.

WordPress Magazine Site (SmartMag) – Finish Build, Fix Layout, Ads, Templates + PDFs Zunaira has been a strong and highly adaptable developer throughout this project. The scope evolved significantly from the original concept into a much more structured magazine-style ecosystem with custom layouts, submission systems, category architecture, responsive behavior, and dynamic content requirements. She handled those changes professionally and continued improving the implementation as the vision became more refined.

What stood out most was her willingness to ask clarifying questions before building major structural components. Rather than blindly implementing changes, she consistently verified workflow logic, UX direction, and long-term manageability — especially regarding custom post types, article/tip separation, mobile responsiveness, and PDF handling.

Communication remained professional throughout the project, and she was responsive when issues arose. We encountered a few technical hurdles during development, including WordPress/SFTP access and content structure revisions, but she worked through them quickly and kept momentum moving forward.

The project is now significantly more polished, organized, and scalable than where it started. I appreciate her patience, flexibility, and steady improvement throughout the process, and I fully intend to continue working with her on future milestones.

I finish and fix Shopify and WordPress sites. The half-built ones, the
ones the last developer walked away from, and the ones that work but load
slowly and don't rank. Top Rated, 100% Job Success, 13 projects.

Based in Texas, so you get same-day replies during US business hours.

MOST OF MY WORK ARRIVES BROKEN

Look at what clients actually hire me for: finish the build, fix the
layout, refresh the site, clean up the conversion flow, sort the
directory that's been wrong for a year. Greenfield builds are the easy
half of this job. Walking into someone else's codebase, working out what
they were attempting, and shipping it without a rewrite is the part that
takes experience.

WHAT I DO

- Shopify: custom themes, Liquid, wholesale and tiered pricing,
checkout flows, private app development, Klaviyo email flows
- WordPress: custom themes, Elementor, WooCommerce, multi-template
magazine and directory builds
- Kajabi: course and membership sites, design through launch
- Rescue and finishing work: inherited projects, stalled builds,
broken layouts, migrations
- Speed and Core Web Vitals: CMS optimization, LCP and CLS fixes

RECENT WORK

Magazine publishing site (SmartMag). Rebuilt the layout system with
custom templates, ad placements, and PDF delivery after scope grew well
past the original brief. The client opened a second contract the day
after delivery, at nearly double the first. That's the sentence I'd
point at if you want to know what working with me is like.

Wholesale DTF transfer print store (Shopify). Full B2B build with
wholesale pricing tiers for 471 products.

Dog grooming academy (Kajabi). Course platform design, development,
and SEO from scratch.

Electrician business site (WordPress). Build plus technical SEO for a
local services company in Dublin.

Elementor front-end build. New work matched into a live site. The
client's words: quality work that blended well with my current website,
refreshing to work with someone who knows her stuff.

BUILT SEARCH-READY, NOT SEARCH-PATCHED

I spent 6+ years on technical SEO and Google Ads before Upwork and
still run search and paid campaigns for ongoing clients. I don't sell
that as a separate service. I mention it because it changes what you
get: clean URL structures, correct canonicals, working sitemaps, proper
heading hierarchy, schema where it earns something. You shouldn't have
to hire a second person to undo the developer's decisions.

A manager I've worked with described it as bridging high-end development
and technical SEO, with code that stays scalable.

HOW I WORK

Full stack means I don't hand off. Theme, custom app logic, data
structure, and integrations are all mine, so nothing stalls waiting on
a second contractor.

I ask questions before I start. I flag scope changes when I see them,
not after the invoice. I don't go quiet mid-project. Every contract I've
taken has closed cleanly, which is the only reason a 100% Job Success
survives 13 of them.

Stack: Shopify (Liquid, custom apps), WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor,
Kajabi, Klaviyo, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, PHP, Google Search Console,
Analytics, Google Ads. BS Computer Science, University of Houston.

GOOD FIT IF

You have a Shopify or WordPress site that needs finishing, fixing, or
building, and you'd rather hire once than three times.

NOT A FIT IF

You want the cheapest bid on the page. I'm not it, and rescue work is
usually what happens after someone takes it.

Send me the URL and tell me what's wrong. I'll tell you what I'd
actually do before you spend anything.

Steps for completing your project

After purchasing the project, send requirements so Zunaira can start the project.

Delivery time starts when Zunaira receives requirements from you.

Zunaira works on your project following the steps below.

Revisions may occur after the delivery date.

Performance Audit

I begin with a detailed speed and performance audit using industry-standard tools to identify bottlenecks affecting load time, Core Web Vitals, and user experience.

Optimization Plan

Based on the audit, I create a targeted optimization plan focused on speed, stability, and SEO-safe improvements tailored to your CMS and hosting environment.

Review the work, release payment, and leave feedback to Zunaira.
