About Muhammad Sarmad
Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) - Data Center & Multipurpose Building
Lahore, Pakistan - 8:16 pm local time
*Expertise in Planning & Scheduling of Data Centers / Energy Centers*
I specialize in developing master schedules that are clear, logically structured, and easy to navigate, with varying levels of detail per client requirements. A typical Data Center schedule prepared by me is structured as follows:
1. Major Sections of the Schedule
• Milestones & Strategic Level Planning
• Design & Engineering
• Permits & Approvals
• Contracting / Subcontracting
• Procurement
o OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed / LLE’s)
o CFCI (Contractor Furnished Contractor Installed)
• Construction
o Mobilization & Site Setup
o Underground Utilities & Sitewide Services
o Structural Envelope (RCC & Steel Frame)
o Interior CSA/MEP Fit-Out
o External Development & Infrastructure Works
• Commissioning (Level 1 to Level 5)
• Close-Out, Documentation & Handover
2. Equipment Incorporated in the Schedule (Not Limited To)
I ensure that all MEP equipment, systems, vendor lead times, installation sequences, energization dependencies, and commissioning requirements are reflected in the logical network. Major items include:
• Electrical: Transformers, Generators, MV & LV Switchgear, ATS/MTS Panels, UPS Systems & Batteries, PDUs/UDPs/UMPs/RPPs/LPs/PPs, Track Busways, Mech Busways, Distribution Panels.
• Cooling & HVAC: Chillers (water-cooled/air-cooled), CRACs/CRAHs, Pipe Racks (if chilled water), Multi-Trade Racks (where applicable), Internal HVAC ductworks, pumps, cooling distribution.
• Data Hall & Equipment Integration: Server racks, containment, cabling trays, MTR coordination, CRAC/CRAH deployment.
• Other Systems: Fire suppression, security systems, fuel system, BMS, controls integration.
3. Commissioning Structure
I prepare commissioning schedules into Level 1 to Level 5 (Factory Tests, Site Acceptance, Pre-Functional, Functional, Integrated Systems Testing), ensuring proper integration between vendors, MEP sequences, energization priority, and operational readiness.
