Discovery and access setup
Review your code, confirm the stack and dependencies, and gain access to your VPS, domain, and required credentials. Identify any blockers before provisioning.
Server provisioning and hardening
Set up the VPS with the required runtime (Node, PHP, Python, etc.), database, and process manager (PM2, systemd, or supervisor). Configure firewall (UFW), disable root login, and apply baseline security hardening.
