This project showcases my ability to clean, process, and analyze messy e-commerce data using Excel. The original dataset contained inconsistent formatting, incorrect product categories, missing values, and mixed date formats.
Key improvements made:
• Standardized product names and text formatting
• Re-categorized products using a mapping table (VLOOKUP)
• Cleaned and unified date formats into YYYY-MM-DD
• Handled missing and inconsistent values in price and stock
• Structured the dataset into a clean and analysis-ready format
Additionally, I created a summary report using Pivot Table to calculate:
• Average price per product
• Total stock per category
This project demonstrates not only data entry skills, but also data cleaning, processing, and basic analysis.
