I feel that we are no longer aligned on the direction of this project.
From the very beginning, I have repeatedly requested a number of basic and logical improvements (for example, preventing big blank spaces in invoice design, ensuring that core features such as buttons function correctly). Unfortunately, these points have not been addressed.
The issues I mentioned in my previous message can be identified in less than a minute, which makes it difficult for me to understand how such fundamental errors are still present after several months of discussion and development. I have spent countless hours to ask you for the exact same changes, and each time only a very few part of them were applied even though they were necessary for the system to work properly.
In addition, it has become clear that there is a lack of understanding regarding the legal accounting requirements. The current implementation contains numerous errors that would prevent compliance with standard accounting practices, which is a critical issue for the project (ie. no possibility of creating credit notes — only delating invoices without letting any trace in the system and leading to other issues, duplications in invoice numbers…).
At this stage, I am no longer confident in your ability to meet my expectations, even at a basic functional level. Additionally, we initially agreed on a one-week delivery timeline, and with the project now almost four months overdue, I believe it has lost much of the relevance and purpose it originally had.
For these reasons, I think it would be best for both of us to bring this collaboration to an end and move forward separately.
