Warning: Pressures clients for payment outside Upwork and fails to deliver.
Initially, the freelancer seemed professional, but the experience was deceptive. After some initial meetings with no real progress, he began making up stories to pressure me into paying him directly, outside of Upwork's secure payment system.
He threatened to stop working unless I paid, so I felt forced to send $500. After receiving the money, he failed to deliver the work and demanded additional payments. When I refused, he disappeared, leaving the project incomplete.
A serious warning to all clients: Do not trust anyone who asks for payment outside of the Upwork system. Stick to the platform's rules to protect yourself. This person is actively violating policies and is not trustworthy.
