Fractional Automation Engineer (AI/RAG)
Although I like Muhammad a lot as a person, in the end commitment to meetings, communication and in the end after having spent almost 2 months working together, I realized that he is not the senior specialist he purported to be. It pains me to write it, because I have a lot of sympathy for him as an individual, but in the end he was vibe coding too much with no real technical flair to backup a (what became) a more complex project.
In the end, I had to bring 2 other specialists into the job and have them rework the entire code base, establish a mature infrastructure and data pipeline, stabilize the business logic and then finish the project. The concept never deviated much, but the technical requirements rose, and this came to my attention on a security review, which uncovered many more technical issues and with an ever increasing absence from Muhammad in terms of development activity and coordination and communication pro-activity it became obvious that it was a bridge too far.
In the end, I had to bring 2 other specialists into the job and have them rework the entire code base, establish a mature infrastructure and data pipeline, stabilize the business logic and then finish the project.
