About Julian
Android Developer

I am living in Mönchengladbach and currently am working as an Android Developer at the telephony company sipgate in Düsseldorf on the CLINQ softphone app. I completed my Computer Science Bachelor and Master at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf. The code of my Master Thesis about Distributed Databases is freely available at my Github.
I am experienced in the programming language Kotlin and in the Android ui-framework Jetpack Compose. With a deeper understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
In my free time I really like to play board games. I even developed an Android companion app on my own for the Dune board game by Gale Force Nine which is freely available in the Google Play Store. It is written completely in Kotlin and only uses Jetpack Compose for the user interface.
I held a talk at the Droidcon Android Conference in Berlin in 2023 about my work on the CLINQ App.
