1. Scraping football matches for odds across different betting websites - this tools scrapes for betting odds every 15 minutes from different betting websites and stores the data in Google Sheets.
2. Scraping E-Commerce Products - this project harnessed the power of web scraping to obtain the details of certain products, which included prices, discounts, ratings, product features etc. I utilized this simple project when I was purchasing my new phone, where I let the tool assist me in finding the cheapest deal of a specific phone from a range of shops.
3. Scraping Movies' Website – this was a side project where I was obtaining movie information from a movie website. Information on the movies, such as genre, movie title, year releases, ratings, trailer links, reviews etc. were all modeled to try and build a recommendation system.
4. Scraping Stock Market Sites – this was a project where I was helping a client to obtain market stock prices on some of the stocks: Bitcoin, Gold, S&P 500 etc. What makes this a unique project is that it automatically runs on a daily basis to extract the changing prices. This process is automated to be a recurring task.
