Project details
The project uses various tools and functions of the MATLAB for image processing. An image is selected first in .dcm format and then its equalized image is saved a .tif format. Then, they are used combined altogether in a single subplot to show the difference. Then, apply various low pass and high pass filters like gaussian, disk and average filter and using frequency spectrum for high pass filter we get the blur and the sharper image. The sharpen function is used to make the image more sharpen at the edges. At the end, the image is added with salt and pepper noise and then remove it using median filter to get the same image earlier.
All the images are plotted with the original image to get difference of the filters and the real image. The functions used are eqhist, imshow, disk, gaussian, average, fspecial, unsharp, fft, ifft and inoise, medfilt.
