I managed to upgrade search results for an eCommerce website from single-digit rates to 95-98 rates.
I would like to warn you it is not as easy as it looks. Most of the page speed plugins are breaking the website, theme, and plugins and creating complicated issues. If the website is not properly built there will be difficulties on the way what is required backend knowledge to fix, (what I am familiar with)
Furthermore, after the 80+ Pagespeed ranking, there are many other issues and details that are slowing down the site. In most cases, it is the slow server loading time and low-cost hosting company or heavily visited servers.
In this case, we need to make hosting and server changes with the website and all of the data transportation, and it can be a week to execute it. (depending on the people and companies involved in)
