Very disappointing experience. The code delivered was of poor quality, with excessive hardcoding and clear signs it was generated by AI (e.g. ChatGPT). This developer presented himself as a senior iOS developer, and we paid a senior-level hourly rate accordingly — but the work delivered did not come close to that standard. This borders on misrepresentation or even fraud. To be clear: this feedback is based solely on the work of this developer, not anyone else’s. I would strongly advise against hiring for any serious iOS project.
