Project details
This service focuses on rapid, production-safe diagnosis and remediation of Java runtime issues. For the Starter tier, I perform a single-JVM forensic: collect thread dumps, heap dumps, GC logs, and CPU profiles; produce a clear root cause and actionable fix (code hotspot, memory leak patch suggestion, GC parameter changes, or resource tuning).
The Standard and Advanced tiers extend this to distributed systems: I correlate traces and logs across services, analyze cross-service call patterns, tune sampling/trace configuration (SkyWalking), and implement configuration and deployment changes (resource requests/limits, GC tuning, thread pool caps, circuit breakers). For implementation, I prefer changes via manifests/Helm and perform staged rollouts with rollback plans.
Deliverables: prioritized findings, remediation manifests/patches, verification logs, and an operational root cause analysis document. Not included: full application refactor or long-term bug fix development (available as follow-up hourly/retainer work). I require at least one point of contact and a confirmed rollback plan before making any live changes.
