You did not possess the proper skills to complete this project, but the fact you were able to learn on the fly and still make accomplishments is to be commended. We had quite a few setbacks due to you not having the proper equipment, but again you ultimately found a way, for the most part, get it done. Unfortunately, all kudos and commendations are trumped by your abandonment of the project without cause or prior communication.
