About Burhan
Data Scientist | AI & Machine Learning Specialist

During my university education, I participated in various communities and institutions. I worked as a Campus Ambassador at the Switzerland-based Global AI Hub and became one of the 20 Global Core Members, supporting the career goals of many members. I also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Instructor in Deneyap Workshops conducted by T3 Foundation, Tübitak and Presidency of Defense Industry. I worked as a member of the Audit Board and Data Science & Software unit coordinator under Ege Defense Technologies. After these projects, I received the Outstanding Student Medal by the Human Resources Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey.
My experience also includes the period I worked as a data science intern at the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance. I also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Trainer and Mentor in Deneyap Workshops organized in cooperation with Tübitak, Presidency of Defense Industry and Turkish Technology Team. I also worked as the Autonomous-Artificial Intelligence System Developer of Ege ROV team.
My project experience includes the Unmanned Underwater Systems project where we developed Ege ROV, a fully autonomous AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) from scratch. I also worked on a breast cancer early detection system and different data analysis projects.
I also give importance to volunteer work. I volunteered at T3 Foundation and Take Off Istanbul and helped network international startups and investors. I also served as a jury member at the Deneyap Workshops organized by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
My achievements include awards such as the Medal of Distinction, Europe's Best Engineers Award, Best Team Spirit Award and Outstanding Service Award. I have also received the Instructor Mentor scholarship from the Turkish Technology Team and was awarded the Merit Scholarship by the Ministry of National Education.
I am fluent in English and spend time creating content by writing technical blog posts. I am also interested in sports such as volleyball and crossfit, participate in personal development activities and enjoy watching documentaries.
My core skills include statistics, data analysis, data visualization, Python, SQL, machine learning and problem solving skills.
