Ramping up fast is most of this job. Very little SaaS work is greenfield. Usually you are joining a codebase someone else started, and shipping without breaking what already works.
WHAT I BUILD :
• SaaS platforms and dashboards: NestJS and Node.js APIs behind React and Next.js front ends, TypeScript end to end, PostgreSQL or MongoDB underneath.
• Front ends that hold up: Next.js with server side rendering for SEO, plus GraphQL and REST data layers. React state that does not turn into a maze by feature twenty.
• Mobile: React Native apps with Stripe subscriptions and Firebase. The payment and auth plumbing that quietly breaks products when it is built wrong.
• AI in the product: I am on an AI build right now, wiring models into a NestJS and Next.js product on AWS. Not a chatbot parked in the corner of a dashboard nobody opens.
• AWS and Docker: containerised Node.js deploys, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront.

WHERE YOU PROBABLY ARE
• Joining a build already in progress: your team needs a full stack developer who can read the repo and ship in week one, not week four. Both my Upwork contracts started exactly that way.
• Pre launch: you need a SaaS MVP with auth, billing and a real database wired in from day one instead of stapled on later. NestJS and Next.js, weeks not quarters.
• Live and creaking: it works, but load times or the deploy process get worse every month. I find which layer is actually breaking, and it is usually not the layer you are pointing at.
HOW I WORK
One full stack developer across the whole SaaS stack, so there is no handoff gap between the Next.js front end and the NestJS API. Working demos as I go, not status updates about work you cannot see. Code documented well enough that the next developer does not need to call me. And if something in your spec does not make engineering sense, you hear it before I build it, not after.
