I'm Imoh, a full-stack developer based in Lagos, Nigeria, and I also run my own startup — Chest Africa, an education finance platform that connects working students to institutional lenders for tuition financing. Running a real fintech product means I've had to build the same things most solo founders need: secure authentication, KYC and verification flows, admin dashboards, banking integrations, and systems that can't afford to break because real people depend on them.
I got into development the way a lot of founders get into it — by needing to build something and refusing to wait for someone else to do it. That instinct is still how I work: fast, practical, and focused on what actually moves your product forward, not what looks impressive in a portfolio.
I mostly work with Java/Spring Boot and PostgreSQL on the backend, and modern JavaScript frameworks on the front end, but the stack is less important to me than the outcome. If you're a solo founder trying to get from idea to something real, I'd like to help you get there.
