Railway is the best platform for full-stack SaaS apps that need more than Vercel's serverless model: persistent services, background workers, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cron jobs in one place. Paired with Supabase for auth and database, it's a production-grade stack that scales without DevOps overhead.
I've deployed full-stack SaaS products on Railway and Supabase for real clients including blanxer.com and sambad.io. I know what breaks: Railway's health check configuration, Supabase connection pooling under load, session management between Railway and Supabase Auth, and DNS quirks that make custom domains take longer than they should.
What I set up:
