Stop paying per-user, every year for expense reimbursement. I implement the same employee expense workflow on Odoo as a one-time build you own, with low or no per-user licensing.
How it works: employees submit expenses, multiple lines merge into one report, the report routes through multi-level approval (1/2/3 levels by amount threshold and department), and approved reports post automatically to your accounting.
Built for real approval policies:
• Multi-level approval on the whole report, not single expenses
• Amount-threshold + department routing via a visual rule editor
• Co-sign (all approvers) and any-of (first approver) modes
• Delegation when an approver is away, plus timeout auto-escalation
• Return a report to a specific level with a reason
• Multi-currency, multi-company, bilingual (EN/ZH)
Production-grade, not a prototype: the approval engine is a packaged Odoo module built to OCA standards — 168 automated tests, i18n and a verified upgrade path. The screenshots are from a real Odoo 17 system.
